If you are missing most or all of your teeth, Dr. Kasperowskioffers several options to meet your needs. Dentures can restore a full arch of teeth or they can fill large gaps in your smile, resulting from the loss of several teeth. We have high-quality full, partial and immediate dentures, as well as relines and repairs. We can alsostabilize your dentures with dental implants.Our doctors will evaluate your smile to determine which option is right for you.

Implant-Stabilized Dentures

  • Traditional dentures: Traditional full dentures can be a good option if you are missing all or most of your teeth. These removable dentures have a plastic base that will fit over your gums. They can replace your upper arch, lower arch or both.
  • Partial dentures: Like traditional full dentures, partials are removable. These restorations will replace several consecutive missing teeth. They also consist of a plastic base. Small metal clasps connect the partial denture to nearby teeth.
  • Implant-supported dentures: Implant-supported dentures attach to small metal implant posts that are surgically placed in the jaw to replace lost tooth roots. Implant-supported dentures are available as both full and partial restorations.

Implant-Stabilized Dentures

To put a permanent end to denture slippage, Dr. Kasperowski can attach your new denture to dental implants. The dentures can be attached to special implant attachments that allow them to snap in and out of place or permanently affixed to implants for the ultimate in stability and near natural chewing power.

Snap-in Implant-Supported Dentures

To replace a full arch of teeth using implants, the most economical option consists of a removable denture that is supported by four implants. Special attachments on the implants enable you to snap the denture in and out. Using this method, the dentures are stable in the mouth and do not slip or move around while you eat, smile or talk.

Which Type of Denture Is Right for You?

The type of denture you select will depend on your cosmetic preferences, oral health, budget and the number of teeth you are missing. Our team will take as much time as needed to explain your options and help you make an informed decision.

It is important to understand that although implant-supported dentures are more expensive than traditional dentures, they can be a much better investment in the long run. They won’t shift out of place as you speak or eat and dental implants are the only solution that can prevent the bone atrophy that follows tooth loss.

While traditional dentures often require refinement as the jaw changes shape, implant-supported dentures rarely require any refinement. With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime.
